Project Title: Isolation and Purification of Bioactive Compound(s) from Echinoderm Extracts

Duration: 11 months

Salary: Php15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A graduate of BS Chemistry
  • Knowledge and skill in chromatography is an advantage
  • Report to the laboratory on time
  • Render at least 8 hours of work daily for all working days of the month
  • Process papers pertinent to the project
  • Keep the laboratory in order at all time
  • Prepare samples for analysis/assays
  • Wash all materials/glassware used after the day’s lab work
  • Keep a record of all laboratory activities
  • Prepare a report of all the results of every assay
  • Serve as property custodian of all the materials acquired from the Project
  • Assist the project leader in all laboratory assays and experiments 
  • Prepare and update an inventory of the lab supplies (chemicals and consumables), glassware, and equipment related to the project
  • Perform laboratory activity beyond office hours (when necessary)
  • Assist in the preparation of progress/accomplishment reports
  • Perform other tasks related to the project as assigned by the Project Leader
