Project Title: Investigation of Gold Nanoparticle-aided Radiotherapy (GNART) for Blood Irradiation as a potential enhanced treatment for the prevention of Transfusion-Associated Graft-versus-Host Disease (TA-GVHD)

Duration: 7 months

Salary: Php15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have obtained an MS-Degree in Physics
• Have sufficient knowledge and experience/skills in C/C++ programming Language, under the Linux Environment
• Have a sufficient knowledge on Geant4, GATE, TOPAS, and ROOT-CERN softwares
• Be familiar about Physics Software Analysis as applied to Medical Physics and Monte Carlo Simulation
• Have a good Technical Writing skill in English Language and Latex scripting
• Install and/or Upgrade to the latest version of Geant4, GATE, Topas, and ROOT-CERN softwares under the Linux environment
• Prepare/Write computer scripts or instructions in relevant formats
• Perform Monte Carlo Simulation using softwares such as Geant4, GATE, Topas, and ROOT-CERN softwares under the Linux environment
• Do analysis using C/C++ language and ROOT-CERN Software
• Conduct literature review
• Prepare articles, reports and presentations;
• Perform such other jobs which are relevant and necessary as may be directed by the
• project leader in the efficient implementation of the project.
