Project Title: Food Safety Knowledge, Practices, and Attitudes of Food Handlers in the University Cafeteria: Basis for Training and Food Service Management Policy

Duration: 10 months

Salary: Php15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder major in foods or other related fields
• Has knowledge and experience in research methods
• Has research writing skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Assist in the preparation of documents necessary for ethical approval;
• Preparation of documents and consents necessary to start the data gathering procedure;
• Assist the research team in the data gathering process;
• Assist the team in constructing the training guide;
• Conduct literature reviews;
• Follow up requests for research equipment, materials and office supplies;
• Prepare interview questions;
• Recruit and/or interview subjects;
• Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary;
• Summarize interviews;
• Provide ready access to all data for the research team and/or supervisor;
• Manage and respond to project related emails;
• Attend project meetings;
• Attend area seminars and other meetings as necessary;
• Summarize project results;
• Prepare and present to team periodic progress reports;
• Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations;
• Monitor the project budget; consultation to the research team; and
• Translate numerical data to written report to complete data analysis
