Project Title: Chitosan-Based Biodegradable Films from the Shell Waste of Penaeus monodon (FABRICIUS, 1798) and Scylla Olivacea (HERBST, 1796) as an Alternative to Conventional Packaging for Aquaculture Products

Duration: 11 months (February-December)
Salary: Php 15,208.80/month
QUALIFICATIONS/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- BS in Marine Biology/Biology/Microbiology or any allied courses
- Preferably has a research experience in marine microbiology and natural products
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Well organized, reliable, independent and possess considerable attention to details.
- Willing to travel for sample collection
- Conducts field sampling and laboratory activities.
- Organize/manage project files
- Processing of collected samples
- Assists in the processing of communications, travel, financial documents, etc.
- Assists in the preparation of progress or accomplishment reports
- Conducts data processing
- Undertakes liaison work for the project
- Performs other tasks assigned by the Project Leader.
