QUALIFICATIONS/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- At least a
Bachelor’s Degree graduate
- Assist in
conducting a thorough review of existing literature on machine learning
applications in epidemiology, specifically focusing on tuberculosis
prediction models.
- Assist in
gathering and organizing data relevant to tuberculosis cases in the
Zamboanga Peninsula, which may include historical data, demographic
information, and environmental factors.
- Assist in
data cleaning and preprocessing which ensures the data quality by cleaning
and preprocessing. This includes handling missing values, removing
duplicates, and normalizing the data.
- Assist in the
development of machine learning models for predicting tuberculosis
incidence. This involves selecting appropriate algorithms, tuning
hyperparameters, and validating model performance.
- Software
Proficiency: Utilize various software tools and programming languages (like
Python, R, SQL) for data analysis and model development.
- Prepare
comprehensive reports and presentations on the research
findings.
- Assist in
processing the procurement of office supplies and equipment needed in the
study.
